American Rootwork Association
The American Rootwork Association (ARA) is an evolving coalition of practicing rootworkers, scholars, scholar-practitioners and tradition-keepers interested in formalizing the study of the American traditions of rootwork, rootdoctoring and related folk traditions as serious areas of scientific and cultural inquiry. The ARA publishes a bulletin twice a year, American Rootwork, that addresses rootwork in contemporary culture, its expression on the internet, the history of rootwork in the context of slavery, and the teaching of rootwork, rootdoctoring and related folk traditions as formal areas of study. There is a nominal fee to join and you are required to agree to adhere to a code of ethics.

Conjure Doctors & Spiritual Mothers
ConjureDoctors.com is the website devoted to honoring the ancestors of the hoodoo, conjure and rootwork traditions. This website is an educational website with a lot of information and resources to help anyone interested in learning more about the forgotten ancestors and their traditions. I have much more to add and will continue to do so, so please check back frequently for updates.

Conjure Society
The Conjure Society provides access to the best and most ethical spiritual practitioners worldwide. All of the spiritual practitioners listed here are the best in their fields, providing you with the ultimate in Hoodoo, Voodoo, Root work, Conjure, Witchcraft and Orisha services and products. Non business members receive access to our members only page where we will have news, specials, sales, tips and tricks for all of your magical needs. There is a nominal fee to join a a business member.

Conjure Club
Creole Moon's Conjure Club is another resource for learning about southern conjure. You pay a yearly subscription and receive ebooks and downloads each month directly to your inbox all about a variety of topics related to hoodoo, conjure and rootwork.

Our partner site owned and operated by Doc Miller is part of Miller's Rexall, the oldest ongoing Hoodoo drugstore left in the United States. Located in downtown Georgia, this important historical landmark celebrates its 50th year in existence in 2015. Doc has over 4000 products in his inventory and is a good source for candles, herbs and curios at discounted prices.
